Come join Kristin Day, Laura Chambless, Jennifer Evans, and Kathy Tricomo in a fun-filled morning learning about how STEM lessons can be coupled with read-alouds.  All participants will receive their own grade band (3-5) Picture Perfect STEM book. The Picture Perfect STEM book contains 15 step-by-step STEM lessons that are each created around two trade books. Teachers will walk away with the Picture Perfect STEM book and four trade books that coincide with the two lessons that will be highlighted during the session.  The session will focus on how science, engineering, and read-alouds work together.  Each lesson in the Picture Perfect STEM book takes about 4 days to complete in a classroom with little prep time and uses common materials.
