Four sessions will once again be held this year for Literacy Leaders, newly named Essential Practices Network, defined as principals and teacher leader(s) from each building. These sessions will focus on supporting the best practice Literacy Essentials and the rollout of the new Math Essentials while connecting the content to behavior (Social Emotional Learning - SEL practices). A collaboration between Literacy, Math, and Special Education will provide participants with quality learning while also saving time by attending a few sessions rather than multiple sessions for each content area.  During each session, participants will gain a deeper understanding of targeted Essential Practices and Values connected to SEL in the morning, and in the afternoon, they will be provided resources and time to plan implementation in their own building. Dates are 10-17-23, 12-13-23, 02-13-24 and 04-15-24.
