Schedule

Day 1 of our Community of Practice offers Strong Beginnings teachers and associate teachers using the Creative Curriculum and High Scope the chance to come together and work collaboratively.  Data will be reviewed and reflected upon from the first checkpoint in TS GOLD. Teachers have the chance to learn about new features of their curriculum that they use everyday, plus learn from others in the field.  Time will be spent on working collaboratively with other Strong Beginnings teachers from around the county to share ideas, lesson plan, and gain helpful feedback on using their curriculum with fidelity in the classroom.  Teachers will also reflect on new features of their curriculum and ways to incorporate the math and literacy essentials and social emotional learning into all parts of the daily routine. We will review how diversity, equity, and inclusion play a role in our planning, teaching, and assessing.  Teams will begin to think about their bias and how they inform instruction in the classroom.
