This year-long series will focus on building relationships and creating safe learning spaces that open students up to curiosity, questioning, and collaboration while connecting to their own communities.
The series will kick off with a summer launch, centered on preparing teachers to build relationships and establish a culture of talk and inquiry starting on the first day of school. Learning will continue monthly throughout the school year, as teachers grow their understanding of problem-based instruction supported by research-based literacy practices.
Regardless of your previous experience, teachers will join a network of like-minded teachers who want to be leaders in shifting their instructional practices to best meet the needs of students academically, socially, and emotionally.
All middle and high school teachers from SCCRESA member districts are welcome BY INVITATION ONLY.
Dates: August 13, 14, 15; Sept. 25; Oct. 15; Nov. 19; Feb. 5; March 6
