Teachers will understand the forces that shape culture within a classroom, and explore a variety of strategies and resources for building relationships and a positive classroom culture, including protocols for team building and class building. 

With the first few weeks of school behind them, teachers will reflect on the management of daily activities in their classroom. Teachers will evaluate how students in their class learn, practice, and demonstrate their knowledge of classroom routines and procedures.

Teachers will explore ways to communicate with students and parents, keeping them engaged in learning and creating a classroom environment in which students want to learn. Teachers will explore positive communication strategies and tools to keep everybody in the loop.This session will help prepare teachers in conducting successful parent-teacher conferences.
