Want a more engaging math classroom?  A classroom where students are doing the learning and teachers become facilitators!  This session is designed to accomplish these goals and more.  This series will be guided by the book: Building Thinking Classrooms in Mathematics Grades K-12 (which everyone will receive).  The author, Peter Liljedahl, believes that ALL students should have the opportunity to be successful in math!  His book will walk us through how to start building a thinking classroom, increase your classroom culture, how to use rich mathematical tasks, and guide you in turning your everyday lessons into accessible lessons to all your learners. Join us for one of the sessions to learn more about Building Thinking Classrooms. Sessions will break into elementary and secondary levels when appropriate.
