CPI Foundation Initial Course Blended (Online and In-Person)
The CPI online portion of the class begins on June 04, 2026. An email with the link will be sent, and you will have two weeks to complete this part of the training. The online portion takes about 2.5 hours and has to be completed prior to the in-person session. If this portion is not completed, you will not be able to attend the live session.
The online course will cover topics such as prevention and de-escalation strategies, decision making and an introduction to disengagement skills for managing risk behavior. The in-person course will review the prevention strategies and teach physical intervention as a last resort and appropriate to the level of presented risk.
This workshop is for special and general education teachers, paraprofessionals and building principals.
